Andrew "Chad" Hahn

Driving Instructor

Andrew "Chad" Hahn has been a driving instructor since 2005. Since then he has accumulated over 10,000 hours of student instruction that has allowed him to truly refine his craft to a level few others can reach. He is as close to a guarantee as you will get when learning the skills necessary to pass your driver's license test on the first try. After graduating Rowan University in 2005 with a degree in Health and Physical Education, Chad began working with students who have behavioral problems at Ranch Hope in Salem County. He then moved to GCIT in 2007 where he helped grow the Physical Education program to be among the best in the state. He lives with his wife and 2 kids in Gloucester County where he enjoys riding motorcycles, boating, hunting, golfing and working on cars.

Jason Ruczynski

Driving Instructor

Jason has been a NJ driver education instructor since 2009. Jason is a very patient and passionate instructor. He is committed to providing students quality instruction while making sure that it is a safe and fun learning experience. While a full time student at Rowan University, Jaso n worked full time as a custodian at a local elementary school and helped his father-in-law on his local farm on the weekends. Jason graduated from Rowan University in 2008 earning a degree in Education: Health and Physical Education K-12. He started teaching at GCIT in 2009 and absolutely loves teaching Health and Physical Education and working with students. Jason also owns and operates an emergency training company: Life Saving Training Institute. The company is a proud provider of American Red Cross Training; First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard Training. He lives with his wife Sarah and two children in Gloucester County where he enjoys hunting, fishing, and flying RC planes.

Jack Lynch

Driving Instructor

Jack is a Road Test Specialist at A-Team Driving School. He is extremely patient, adaptable, kind, and is committed to the success of his students. Jack is retired and works part-time as a substitute teacher at GCIT. He formerly worked for 30-plus years as a Finance / Accounting Manager at one of the world’s largest chocolate companies, with headquarters in Zurich Switzerland. Jack attended Glassboro State (Rowan University), where he worked on campus and on weekends at home. While raising his two children, he was active in the local sports programs, assisting in coaching and officiating. Jack remains active with cycling, playing golf and going to the gym, with a bit of gardening and landscaping at home as well.

Bob Miles

Driving Instructor

Bob is a Road Test Specialist at A-Team Driving School. He is a very patient, intuitive, fun, and committed instructor. Bob began his second career as a driving instructor upon retirement from the New Jersey Judiciary - Probation in 2014. He and his wife, Kathy, live in East Greenwich Township and are parents to three adult children and grandparents to seven. He also buys distressed real estate for rehabilitation and resale. He serves several organizations bringing relief to impoverished people locally and around the world.

Brian Carione

Driving Instructor

Brian is a passionate educator and dedicated instructor who enjoys teaching new drivers the skills needed to become a competent driver. Brian graduated from Thomas Edison State College. He is a teacher at Delsea High School where he has 25 years experience teaching special education. Brian has coached football for the Delsea Crusaders and currently is the head golf coach. He Lives in Gloucester County with his wife and 1 son. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, working outside, and going to the gym.

Liz Roantree

Driving Instructor

Liz is a young and enthusiastic teacher excited to instruct more soon to be drivers the regulations of the road. Liz has been a Culinary/ Baking teacher for the past 3 years at GCIT and is used to teaching students how to think and react in high stress situations with ease. Liz is also a soccer coach at GCIT and head of the student run organization FCCLA where students take on the responsibility to become leaders in their communities and families. Her experience in coaching and teaching students in the classroom and kitchen translates easily to instructing students on the road. Liz grew up in the Gloucester county area but now spends most of her time in Collingswood with her fiancé and dog enjoying all the great food and outdoor activities it has to offer.

Kris Torchia

Driving Instructor

Kristian is a Science Teacher at GCIT with over 13 year’s experience in education and over 10 year’s experience coaching various High School sports. From these experiences working with teens, Kristian has developed a driving instructor style that would be described as laid back, patient and funny when working with young adults. He will ensure that your child practices safe habits and becomes a better defensive driver.

Sabrina Finneran

Driving Instructor

Sabrina joined A-Team in February of 2022 as an assistant office manager. After registering many students for driving lessons, she was determined to become a driving instructor. She is very patient, sweet, and excited to provide driving instruction to her future students. Her goal is to make her students feel comfortable on the road as well as become safe, knowledgeable drivers. Sabrina is currently a Rowan University student majoring in Health and Physical Education. In addition to working for A-Team, she is a substitute teacher for GCIT, a private pitching instructor, a tennis coach, and a softball coach. In her spare time, she loves to travel, spend time with her family, friends, and three crazy dogs.

Tom Tocco

Driving Instructor

Tom is a Math Teacher at Pitman Middle School with 10 years of educational experience. From this experience, Tom understands the importance of patience when teaching something new. He is the most patient and adaptable driving instructor. Tom has a love for teaching and it is his passion to help students feel comfortable and confident while driving. It is Toms’ top priority to make certain that his students are practicing safe driving habits. Tom lives in Gloucester County with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys running and spending time with his family.

Rachel Adams

Driving Instructor

Rachel is currently a senior student at Rowan University majoring in Health and Physical Education. She aspires to be a Health and Physical Education teacher in the Gloucester County area. Rachel has years of coaching experience and teaching experience. She has been a softball instructor and assistant coach since she was eighteen. Rachel has a passion for teaching her students to succeed on and off the road. She is dedicated to teaching her students how to become a safe and proficient driver. In her free time she loves to relax with her family and friends and spend time at the beach.

Brandon Lyons

Driving Instructor

Brandon is a Health and Physical Education teacher since 2009 with experience from Kindergarten all the way through high school. Currently, he teaches Middle School and High School students in the Woodstown School District and is entering his 8th year there. Brandon has been a driving instructor since 2018. The thing he loves most about teaching is the privilege of building relationships and seeing his students have that “AHA!” moment, whether in the classroom or behind the wheel. In his free time, Brandon is an avid golfer, musician, and family man who loves to spend time with his wife and two children.

McNeil Wrice

Driving Instructor

McNeil is an Employment Specialist at GCSSSD and GCIT. Mcneil has been in the field over education since 2013. He received his degree in Human Service Counseling at Wayne State College in 2014. After college, McNeil spent time as a Youth Accountability Officer and Family Support Worker. His counseling background helps him establish rapport and effectively communicate while providing instruction. McNeil understands the importance of patience and encouragement while instructing. His calm tone and demeanor act as a source of comfort while helping students develop skills. McNeil has been an athletic coach since 2013. He has experience in coaching Football, Basketball, Baseball and Volleyball. He is currently the Head Boys’ Basketball coach at GCIT and Head Varsity Girl’s volleyball coach. McNeil also worked as a Golf Instructor at Arrowhead Day Camp in West Chester PA, for 3 years. Whether teaching, coaching, or driving instruction, McNeil is a dedicated professional who enjoys interacting with students of all ages and abilities. McNeil‘s main objective is to help students feel comfortable, confident, and safe while driving. McNeil lives in Gloucester Twp with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys attending his daughter’s activities, coaching, landscaping, and taking vacations with his family.

Katie Jordan

Driving Instructor

Katie joined our Team in January 2022 as our Office Manager. She is one of the delightful staff members you will see or hear when you come into the office or call to sign your child up for lessons or road tests. Katie also takes students for their Road Tests through the Car Only option. Katie's professional background includes many years of customer service, quality, and training. Katie lives in Gloucester County with her husband and 5 year old son. Katie grew up in Delaware County, PA and has been living in South Jersey for the past 18 years. She loves the beach and enjoys collecting seashells. Katie also has a very pleasant and happy personality. She really enjoys helping our customers and proving outstanding customer service!

Kurt Mease

Driving Instructor

Kurt is very passionate about driving, with over a million miles behind the wheel in 47 of the US states as well as a handful of other countries. He really enjoys teaching our up-and-coming young drivers to have the skills, the confidence, and the thought process to look out for other drivers and be able to handle whatever the unpredictable road ahead may throw at them. His instructing style is very thorough and patient, while also being fun and engaging. He is truly a jack-of-all-trades and loves to tinker when it comes to repairing just about anything. He has a background in product design, engineering, technical support management, and operations management. Kurt enjoys driving off-road, is an instrument-rated helicopter pilot, and grew up in Mantua Township. He and his wife currently live in West Deptford, along with their two adult children.

Joy Ford

Driving Instructor

Joy Ford has spent 23 years in education from pre school to high school. She has held positions of Certified Athletic Trainer, Health and Physical Education Teacher, and Administration. As a dedicated and patient driving instructor, she is passionate about helping individuals develop safe and confident driving skills. Joy strives to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment tailored to each student's needs and learning pace. With a focus on clear communication and comprehensive instruction, Joy aims to equip her students with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the roads responsibly. Whether you're a beginner getting behind the wheel for the first time or looking to improve specific driving techniques, Joy is committed to guiding you towards becoming a skilled and responsible driver.

Dave Slates

Driving Instructor

Dave Slates, originally from Michigan, brings his mid-west style of teaching to A- team. He is a Physical Education Teacher at Delsea Regional school district and has been teaching for the past 25 years. He is an adjunct professor at Rowan University where he teaches courses in Exercise Science. Dave came to New Jersey in '97 to Coach Football at Rowan. He retired as a football coach after helped Delsea win a 2023 Group 3 State Championship. Two of Dave's 3 children learned to drive at A- team. He and his wife Jessica reside in Franklinville, NJ. He wants to teach his "Mid-West" style of safe driving to his Students.

Sean McGarrity

Driving Instructor

Sean has training and mentoring in his DNA. Shortly after graduating college he became a Trainer for CVS Pharmacy. He was responsible for training all new management trainees for the state of NJ. Since 1999 he has been working in the staffing industry wearing a few different hats. One of which included building a National Recruiting Center to train young professionals to become successful recruiters and account managers. He lives in Washington Township with his wife of 31 years. They have 2 children, a son who is an Engineer in Philadelphia and a daughter, a Business Intelligence Analyst, in Illinois. Sean is also a proud grandfather!

John Donegan

Driving Instructor

John is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in emergency services, law enforcement, and healthcare. A graduate of Mainland Regional High School and the Cape May County Police Academy, he also holds a Nursing Degree from Camden County College. With prior experience as an instructor in Burlington County, John's passion for teaching Driver's Ed brought him to A-Team Driving School, where he focuses on continuous improvement based on student feedback. Joining A-Team allowed him to be closer to his home in Sewell. In his free time, John enjoys camping trips and is a regular at Phillies home games.

John Boucher

Driving Instructor

John has vast experience in the military and law-enforcement. He is a retired police officer and a lifelong resident of Salem county. He has a knack for keeping his students engaged while using levity to help build the students confidence while they are overcoming the stress of being new drivers. He has a passion for building their skills to be safe and to give them the confidence to pass their test.

Tony

Driving Instructor

Tony is a Health and Physical Education teacher at Paulsboro High School with over 22 years of educational experience from Pre- Kindergarten through high school. He also has many years of experience coaching soccer, cross country, wrestling and track and field. After graduating Rowan University in 2002 with a degree in Health and Physical Education, he later earned a Master’s degree from Wilmington University in School Leadership. He is committed to having a successful and safe driving experience for his students. He is also heavily involved in his community where he lives in Gloucester County with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, having fun, going to his children's activities, coaching, spending time outside, and relaxing!
